Cricket Australia unveiled a mural of Travis Head and Alex Carey in Adelaide's central business district on Tuesday. The artwork marks 50 days until the Christmas Test against New Zealand at the Adelaide Oval.
Head's family members joined former Australia cricketers Callum Ferguson and Mel Jones at the unveiling. NSW-based artist Calum Hotham painted the mural in collaboration with street art studio Blank Walls over one week.
The piece stands at the corner of King William and Currie streets. It depicts Head and Carey raising their bats against a backdrop of the Adelaide Oval scoreboard, The Hill and St Peter's Cathedral.

The mural's placement in the city's business district ensures daily visibility to non-cricket audiences who may otherwise encounter the Test only through score updates or brief highlights.
