Breetzke replaces Stubbs in South Africa squad
Matthew Breetzke returns to the Test squad after his ODI century while Tristan Stubbs is dropped and Ryan Rickelton takes the gloves.
South Africa have recalled Matthew Breetzke and dropped Tristan Stubbs from their 17-member squad for the second Test against Australia in Gqeberha starting October 18. Breetzke earned selection after scoring a match-winning 112 in the first ODI against Australia last month.
Ryan Rickelton will take the gloves in place of Kyle Verreynne, who has been stripped of wicketkeeping duties. South Africa lost the opening Test by 214 runs in Durban and are looking to level the three-match series at St George's Park.
Head coach Shukri Conrad confirmed that Kagiso Rabada remains in contention despite a hamstring injury while Anrich Nortje faces fitness concerns after playing his first long-format match in three years. The series continues with the third Test at Newlands from October 27.

Breetzke's recall shows that aggressive ODI form can still open Test doors when the top order needs personality as much as runs.
