Tushar Deshpande claimed a hat-trick and five wickets as Mumbai bowled Chandigarh out for 78 on day two of their Ranji Trophy match.
Tushar Deshpande took a hat-trick on the second day of Mumbai's Ranji Trophy match against Chandigarh at the Wankhede Stadium. The pacer dismissed Arjun Azad, Shivam Bhambri and Dipender Kush in successive deliveries during an 11th-over spell.
Deshpande finished with five for 17 from seven overs after tea as Chandigarh were bowled out for 78 in reply to Mumbai's 429. He became the sixth Mumbai bowler to claim a hat-trick in the Ranji Trophy. The 30-year-old also scored 44 with the bat earlier in the day, marking his 50th First-Class match.
