Kohli's team calls Rs 5 crore Premanand Maharaj claim false and baseless
Kohli's representatives rejected the financial transaction claims and urged media to verify facts before reporting.
Virat Kohli's spokesperson said claims that the batter received Rs 5 crore to visit Premanand Maharaj's ashram are completely false, baseless and factually incorrect. Dinesh Sharma, also known as Falahari Maharaj, alleged that a property builder lobby paid the amount to boost the spiritual leader's popularity. Kohli's team stated that the visits were made purely out of faith and reverence.
