Prasidh Krishna ruled out of third ODI; Anshul Kamboj named replacement
Prasidh Krishna's hamstring niggle has forced India to call up Anshul Kamboj for the series finale against West Indies.
India pacer Prasidh Krishna has been ruled out of the third and final ODI against West Indies after sustaining a niggle during the second match in Guwahati. Krishna bowled only five overs and returned figures of 1/45 as West Indies posted 405 for seven. The BCCI confirmed the injury on Thursday and named uncapped pacer Anshul Kamboj as his replacement.
Mohammed Siraj is expected to return to the playing XI and lead the bowling attack after being left out of the first two matches. Nitish Kumar Reddy is also likely to replace Auqib Nabi Dar, who conceded 84 runs without taking a wicket in the second ODI.
Naman Dhir has been added to the T20I squad in place of Washington Sundar, who was withdrawn to prepare for the New Zealand Test series. The third ODI is scheduled for Mullanpur on Saturday.

India's decision to draft in Kamboj while keeping Siraj as the likely leader of the attack shows the selectors are prioritising proven international experience over giving the uncapped bowler a debut in a dead rubber.
