Gous made 132 and Smith finished unbeaten on 110. MI New York had set the target on the back of Nicholas Pooran's 31-ball hundred earlier in the match. The fixture produced 51 sixes in total — a bruising contest between two sides swinging for everything.
Three centuries across one match is rare. The win takes Freedom into the next stage of the MLC playoffs.
