Shan Masood won't play Pakistan's second Test against West Indies. He fractured the index finger on his left hand after a Jayden Seales delivery struck him during the first innings of the opening match at Brian Lara Stadium.

Masood had already posted a century in that game before Pakistan lost by 90 runs. The injury will also keep him out of the England tour that follows.

Fast bowlers Mohammad Abbas and Khurram Shahzad received separate ICC sanctions for Code of Conduct breaches during the first Test.

CricHubb Take

Masood's absence leaves Pakistan's top order thinner just before an England series where early wickets and batting depth will matter more than they did in the Caribbean.
