'It's my first tri-series and it replicates World Cup styles and pressures'

Will Jacks compared England's must-win tri-series fixtures to a mini World Cup, saying the pressure mirrors what teams face in the actual tournament.

Will Jacks said England's remaining tri-series matches against Pakistan and Sri Lanka feel like a mini World Cup after defeats left the team needing to win both games to reach the final. He drew parallels to England's 2019 World Cup campaign.

England lost to Pakistan by 87 runs and then fell short by two wickets against Sri Lanka despite Harry Brook's record 202. Jacks said the must-win fixtures cannot be replicated in training or bilateral series.

Jacks noted that every game serves as preparation for the 2027 World Cup in South Africa. He said losses provide valuable lessons and that the team must bounce back to build momentum.
