Haris Rauf clashes with Will Jacks as Pakistan beat England by one wicket
Rauf and Jacks traded words twice as Pakistan completed a dramatic one-wicket victory to reach the final.
Pakistan seamer Haris Rauf exchanged words with England all-rounder Will Jacks during the closing stages of a tri-series ODI at Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore. The on-field umpire stepped in after Rauf moved towards Jacks following a wide appeal with Shadab Khan on 99. Joe Root pulled the pair apart and steered Rauf away.
Pakistan chased 242 after slumping to 154 for nine, with Shadab unbeaten on 113 off 96 balls. Rauf struck the winning boundary with 17 balls left, sealing an 89-run stand for the last wicket. England had posted 241 after being put in, led by Ben Duckett's 105.
The confrontation flared again during the post-match handshake. Pakistan's third straight win booked their place in the tri-series final.
