Rajat Patidar took a sensational catch to dismiss Vaibhav Sooryavanshi on Day 3 of the Duleep Trophy semi-final. Central Zone captain Patidar ran back from inside the 30-yard circle and fell hard on the ground to complete the dismissal off Yash Thakur's bowling. Sooryavanshi had played a quickfire knock of 40 during East Zone's chase of 159 against Central Zone. The catch ended Sooryavanshi's innings and shifted momentum in the match. South Zone defeated North Zone by seven wickets to reach the Duleep Trophy 2026 final against East Zone.
