BCCI to review India's white-ball tour in August
BCCI schedules August review of white-ball results and support staff contracts. Shreyas Iyer calls Ireland defeat a reality check ahead of Zimbabwe finale.
The BCCI will hold a review meeting in August to assess India's white-ball performances across the tours of Ireland, England and Zimbabwe. The meeting will also examine the contracts of support staff working under head coach Gautam Gambhir.
India T20I captain Shreyas Iyer described the loss to Ireland as a reality check. He said the side needs to execute better in the remaining T20I against Zimbabwe.
Zimbabwe captain Sikandar Raza admitted his batting has let the team down after scores of 4 and 0 against India. India completed a 2-0 T20I series win after posting 219 for 5 and bowling Zimbabwe out for 129.
