10. Abhishek Sharma sets new T20 duck record in 2026

Abhishek Sharma was dismissed for a golden duck against Japan in Sano on Tuesday, taking his T20 duck tally to 10 for the calendar year. No player has previously been dismissed for a duck 10 times in a single year.

The left-hander has been dismissed without scoring seven times in 27 T20Is this year. He also recorded three ducks during India's group-stage campaign at the 2026 T20 World Cup.

Rashid Khan and Shadab Khan previously held the record with nine ducks each in a calendar year. Abhishek's latest failure came in a rain-shortened five-over match that India won by two runs.
