Abhishek Sharma dismissed for golden duck against Japan

Abhishek Sharma was dismissed for a golden duck in India's one-off T20I against Japan at Sano on Tuesday. The left-hander became the first player to record 10 ducks in a calendar year after top-edging a sweep off Charlie Hara-Hinze in the opening over. The match was reduced to five overs per side due to rain.

India scored 32 for 4 and then defended the total by two runs as Japan finished on 30 for 3. Shreyas Iyer top-scored with 16 and was named Player of the Match. India became the first team to reach 200 T20I wins.

Abhishek had scored a 30-ball century against Afghanistan in the preceding series.
