Ajinkya Rahane says India should not rush Yashasvi Jaiswal into ODI side

Former India batter Ajinkya Rahane believes the selectors should not rush Yashasvi Jaiswal into the playing XI merely to give him game time, as doing so could disrupt the team's winning combination. Rahane said Jaiswal's absence makes no difference because India's batting is set.

Rahane said he wants to see one or two changes, including Mohammed Siraj coming in and Nitish Kumar Reddy returning to the side. He said if Reddy is in India's World Cup plans, his role will be crucial and it is important to give him confidence.

Dinesh Karthik suggested that India could make one or two changes to test different combinations ahead of future assignments. He said the team could be ruthless and win the series 3-0 or give opportunities to players like Jaiswal and Dhruv Jurel.
