Ajinkya Rahane says Virat Kohli can reach 100 centuries
Kohli scored his 55th ODI hundred against West Indies on Sunday.
Ajinkya Rahane said Virat Kohli can reach 100 international centuries if he sets his mind to it. Kohli scored his 55th ODI hundred in India's eight-wicket win over West Indies in the first ODI at Thiruvananthapuram on Sunday.
Kohli reached 15,000 ODI runs in 303 innings, 74 fewer than Sachin Tendulkar needed for the same landmark. He also became the first batter to score 7,000 ODI runs in India during the innings of 139 not out from 88 balls.
India captain Shubman Gill said Kohli is playing with greater freedom and that senior players should be allowed to bat without restriction. Gill scored 110 in the chase of 296 as India won with 50 balls to spare.
