Aryaman Birla confirms RCB will retain Royal Challengers Bengaluru identity

Aryaman Birla, chairman of the newly acquired Royal Challengers Bengaluru franchise, confirmed that the team will keep its established brand identity. The statement follows takeover by the Aditya Birla Group ahead of the IPL 2026 season.

Fans had raised concerns over a possible rebranding after the ownership change. Birla said the iconic RCB name is here to stay.

The franchise has not announced any other structural changes linked to the new ownership group.
