Mayank Agarwal dismissed for duck on County debut

Mayank Agarwal was dismissed for a duck while batting for Durham in the County Championship match against Middlesex. Nineteen-year-old Middlesex bowler Sebastian Morgan claimed the wicket on a 25-ball dismissal.

Agarwal, who previously played for Royal Challengers Bengaluru in the IPL, is on a short-term contract with Durham for the remainder of the English domestic season. The 34-year-old opener arrived with expectations after a strong domestic record in India.

Durham officials confirmed Agarwal will remain with the county for the balance of the Championship campaign, with further opportunities dependent on his adaptation to English conditions.
