Bhuvneshwar Kumar set for possible return at Chinnaswamy after four years
Bhuvneshwar Kumar may return at Chinnaswamy where he has a strong T20 record after Arshdeep's injury.
Bhuvneshwar Kumar could play his first T20I in nearly four years when India face West Indies in the series decider at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium on Saturday. He was added to the squad after Arshdeep Singh suffered a shoulder injury in Hyderabad.
Kumar has taken 11 wickets in five previous T20 matches at the venue, including three three-wicket hauls during IPL 2026. West Indies have posted totals above 240 in both wins, exposing India's pace attack. Kumar's swing and death bowling could provide control on a ground where most bowlers struggle.
Morne Morkel welcomed the addition and said Arshdeep remains in contention. Rain is forecast for match day.
