Geoffrey Boycott calls Ravindra Jadeja his favourite modern cricketer

Former England batter Geoffrey Boycott said Ravindra Jadeja is his favourite modern-day cricketer. Boycott told Indian Express he once informed Jadeja directly that he ranked him ahead of the Fab Four. The comments came after Jadeja's recent Test performances.

Boycott also said India's Test team should now move on from Jadeja. He described the all-rounder's consistency across formats as exceptional. Jadeja currently plays for Rajasthan Royals in the IPL after leaving Chennai Super Kings.

The remarks add to the debate over Jadeja's future with India ahead of the BCCI's review meeting on Thursday.
