ICC fines Kranti Gaud and Pakistan after Asia Cup and Test series

ICC fines Kranti Gaud 10 percent match fee for a send-off and docks Pakistan 11 WTC points plus 50 percent match fees for a slow over-rate.

The ICC imposed a 10 percent match-fee fine and one demerit point on India pacer Kranti Gaud for a Level 1 Code of Conduct breach during the Women's Asia Cup final against Sri Lanka. Gaud admitted giving a send-off to Imesha Dulani and accepted the sanction without a hearing.

Pakistan were fined 50 percent of their match fee and docked 11 World Test Championship points for a slow over-rate in the third Test against England at Edgbaston. The team finished 11 overs short after time allowances, and captain Babar Azam accepted the sanction.

The penalties leave Pakistan at the bottom of the WTC table with a points percentage of 4.63 and add to the board's disciplinary concerns after a 3-0 series defeat.
