ICC fines Pakistan women five per cent of match fees for slow over-rate

The International Cricket Council fined Pakistan women five per cent of their match fees after they were ruled one over short of the required rate in their Asia Cup semi-final against Sri Lanka. Captain Fatima Sana admitted the offence under Article 2.22 and accepted the sanction proposed by match referee G.S. Lakshmi. The penalty was applied after time allowances were taken into account.
