Jemimah Rodrigues ruled out of the Hundred with hamstring injury

Rodrigues' hamstring injury sidelines her from The Hundred and casts doubt on her Asia Cup participation.

Jemimah Rodrigues has been ruled out of the remainder of The Hundred after suffering a hamstring injury while playing for Southern Brave. The India batter scored 143 runs in six innings for Brave at an average of 35.75 and a strike rate of 131.19 before the injury.

Southern Brave confirmed on Saturday that Australian all-rounder Charli Knott has been signed as her injury replacement for the rest of the tournament. The extent of the injury has not been confirmed and it remains unclear whether Rodrigues will recover in time for the Women's T20 Asia Cup.

The tournament begins on August 28 in Dubai, with India facing Thailand in their opening match on August 30. Rodrigues has just under three weeks to regain fitness for the continental tournament.
