3 for 0: Manav Suthar equals 131-year-old first-class record
Manav Suthar took three wickets for zero runs in an innings for Warwickshire against Glamorgan in the County Championship at Sophia Gardens in Cardiff. The 26-year-old left-arm spinner achieved the feat during Warwickshire's innings-and-257-run victory.
Suthar became only the second bowler in first-class history to take wickets in both innings of a match without conceding a run. The previous instance occurred 131 years ago.
The Rajasthan spinner has continued his strong form in English conditions after making his Test debut for India earlier this year. Warwickshire's title challenge has been strengthened by overseas players who have performed consistently throughout the season.
