Naman Dhir says he bowled with simple plan in Guwahati ODI

Dhir explained his bowling approach and credited Jadeja for tips ahead of the series finale in New Chandigarh.

Naman Dhir said he used one long boundary for right-handers and stuck to a clear plan without trying anything extra during the second ODI against West Indies in Guwahati. The 26-year-old returned none for 38 in 6.1 overs as the visitors posted 405 for seven.

Dhir credited Ravindra Jadeja for advice on line and length that helped him adjust his bowling. He described the guidance as very useful ahead of the third ODI at Maharaja Yadavindra Singh International Cricket Stadium in New Chandigarh on Saturday.

Dhir is set to make his home debut in the series finale. He has yet to bat but remains in the squad as a middle-order option and fifth or sixth bowling choice after India already secured the series.
