Naman Dhir says India need better plans after leaking runs in powerplay
Naman Dhir said India's bowlers have leaked runs due to poor execution of plans and that the side is working on better plans ahead of the third and final ODI against the West Indies. Dhir said the team would like to do better and try to stop the West Indies to a lower total.
Dhir said the communication from the team management has been clear that he will bat at number six or seven and that his main role is to be the fifth or sixth bowler. He said he has talked a lot with Ravindra Jadeja, who gave tips on what line and length to bowl.
Dhir is set for a homecoming on Saturday, as New Chandigarh is set to host its maiden men's ODI. He said he has played a lot at the venue and knows it well.
