Peter Handscomb and Jhye Richardson picked in Australia A squad for India tour

Australia A will travel to Puducherry later this month for the four-day leg of their tour of India before playing three 50-over matches. Peter Handscomb and Jhye Richardson are among the players selected for the tour.

Marnus Labuschagne misses out on the squad. Several players in the group are set to audition for places ahead of Australia's next Border-Gavaskar Trophy campaign.

The tour provides opportunities for fringe players to press their claims for Test selection. The four-day matches will be played first, followed by the limited-overs fixtures.
