Rachin Ravindra dislocates right shoulder during promotional shoot
Rachin's participation in the T20I series starting October 22 remains uncertain after a shoulder injury during a promotional shoot.
New Zealand all-rounder Rachin Ravindra dislocated his right shoulder during a promotional shoot in Auckland on Wednesday. Medical assessments on Friday found no major structural damage, yet his return-to-play timeline depends on early rehabilitation progress.
New Zealand Cricket performance manager Mike Sandle described the incident as a freak accident. Head coach Rob Walter said the side will not rush the 26-year-old back given an extensive Test schedule over the next six months.
Ravindra has played 52 T20Is, scoring 759 runs and taking 26 wickets. India's five-match T20I series begins on October 22, and New Zealand will name their squad next week.
