Shahbaz Ahmed hits 167 as East Zone enforce follow-on in Duleep Trophy

East Zone defeated North East Zone by an innings and 210 runs to reach the Duleep Trophy semi-finals. East Zone posted 467 in their first innings, led by Sudip Gharami’s 146. North East Zone were bowled out for 111 and 145 in their two innings. Abhijit Sarkar claimed five wickets in the first innings while Anukul Roy took five in the second. Shahbaz Ahmed scored a career-best 167 and also contributed with the ball.
