Smriti Mandhana became the first woman to reach 11,000 international runs during India's Asian Games final against Sri Lanka on Tuesday. The opener reached the milestone inside her first ten deliveries, hitting two fours and two sixes off Sugandika Kumari. She was later dismissed for 79 as India posted 216 for three, their highest total in the women's Asian Games event.
