Stephen Fleming confirmed as England Test coach with Root as captain

Stephen Fleming has been appointed England men's Test head coach. He replaces Brendon McCullum and starts before the South Africa series in December.

Joe Root returns as captain for a second spell. Marcus Trescothick steps in as interim coach for the Pakistan Tests next month.

Fleming won the County Championship with Nottinghamshire and impressed the ECB across a series of interviews.
