Vaibhav Sooryavanshi convinces Ishan Kishan to review; East Zone claim breakthrough

Fifteen-year-old Vaibhav Sooryavanshi convinced East Zone captain Ishan Kishan to review a caught-behind decision on day three of the Duleep Trophy final. The review proved successful and gave East Zone their first breakthrough against South Zone.

Sooryavanshi, the vice-captain, also influenced field placements that contributed to two South Zone wickets. East Zone reached 708 in their first innings and reduced South Zone to 242 for six by stumps on day three.

The teenager's tactical input has drawn attention from selectors ahead of the upcoming Under-19 cycle.
