Wasim Akram links Pakistan's 15 losses in 20 Tests to structural gaps
Wasim Akram said Pakistan's Test problems run deeper than selection and require structural change.
Wasim Akram said Pakistan's two Test defeats in England form part of a longer sequence of 15 losses in their last 20 matches. He described the results as unsurprising and called for structural reform rather than further selection changes.
Akram criticised the domestic pathways that leave players under-prepared for overseas conditions. He also noted that the PCB's decision to send seven players home and dismiss the coaching staff after the second Test created additional instability.
The former captain said the attitude of some players remains part of the problem.
