Washington Sundar and Nitish Reddy cleared for Afghanistan T20Is

Sundar and Reddy cleared fitness tests and will rejoin the squad; Bumrah status still under review ahead of the Afghanistan T20I series.

Washington Sundar and Nitish Kumar Reddy passed fitness tests at the BCCI Centre of Excellence and will join India's squad for the three-match T20I series against Afghanistan starting September 13 in New Delhi.

Sundar missed the recent Test series in Sri Lanka after sustaining a hamstring injury during the second ODI against England in Cardiff in July. Reddy aggravated a left quadriceps injury during the home ODI series against Afghanistan in June.

Jasprit Bumrah remains under monitoring for a left knee injury while Harshit Rana is unavailable after his latest setback.
