Sanju Samson returns as India name XI for Afghanistan T20I

Samson keeps his place while Sooryavanshi waits for a debut.

India have retained Sanju Samson in the XI for the second T20I against Afghanistan. Vaibhav Sooryavanshi remains on the bench after missing the first match.

Samson opened alongside Abhishek Sharma in the series opener after selectors opted for experience over the 15-year-old. The team management has not indicated whether Sooryavanshi will feature in the remaining matches.

The second T20I takes place at the Arun Jaitley Stadium on Tuesday. India lead the series 1-0 after their seven-wicket win in the opener.
