Shubman Gill and Shafali Verma have been named ICC Players of the Month for September 2026. Gill earned the men's award for the fifth time after scoring 333 runs in two ODIs against West Indies, including 110 in the first match and an unbeaten 223 off 133 balls in the second. Shafali won the women's award for her contributions to India's Asia Cup and Asian Games successes.
