Virat Kohli dismissed for golden duck in third ODI against West Indies

Kohli fell for a golden duck on the second ball he faced after Gill departed for one in the opening over of the third ODI.

Virat Kohli was dismissed for a golden duck in the third ODI against West Indies at Mullanpur on Saturday. Jayden Seales bowled a full inswinger that crashed into the stumps in the third over, leaving Kohli out for the first time in 2,481 days.

India had already lost Shubman Gill for one in the same over. The double blow left India at three for two inside the first two overs. Kohli's previous golden duck in ODIs also came against West Indies, in Visakhapatnam in 2019.

India have already secured the series after winning the first two ODIs. Kohli had scored an unbeaten 139 in the series opener at Thiruvananthapuram and remains one century away from equalling Sachin Tendulkar's record for most ODI hundreds.
