Virat Kohli says 2027 World Cup will be his last for India

Virat Kohli has confirmed that the 2027 ODI World Cup will be his final appearance in the tournament for India. Speaking ahead of the West Indies series, he said he is ready to give everything to win the title. He noted that the intensity of a 50-over World Cup exceeds anything he has experienced in T20 cricket.

Kohli said he wants to maintain high intensity across ten matches in foreign conditions. He said the motivation comes from knowing it will be his last World Cup. He added that he is prepared to do whatever it takes to achieve the goal.

Rohit Sharma also said he remains focused on the 2027 tournament. He said he still has unfinished business in ODI cricket and will continue preparing for the challenge ahead.
