Virat Kohli says 2027 World Cup will be his last for India

Virat Kohli has confirmed that the 2027 ODI World Cup will be his last for India. Kohli made the statement ahead of the first ODI against West Indies in Thiruvananthapuram. The 37-year-old said he is ready to do whatever it takes to win the tournament. Kohli scored his 55th ODI century and became the second batter after Sachin Tendulkar to reach 15,000 ODI runs during India's eight-wicket win. He finished unbeaten on 139 off 88 balls. Kohli said his focus has never been on milestones but on doing the job for the team. He described the 2027 tournament as unfinished business.
