Saransh Jain becomes fifth player from Indore to represent India in Test cricket

Saransh Jain became the fifth cricketer from Indore to play Test cricket for India after receiving his cap in Colombo. The previous players from the city are Narendra Hirwani, Rajesh Chauhan, Naman Ojha and Rajat Patidar. Jain made his debut at 33 after replacing Kuldeep Yadav in the second Test against Sri Lanka. He received his cap from Ravindra Jadeja 15 minutes before the toss. Jain expressed gratitude to his family and coaches after achieving the milestone.
