Naman Dhir takes three wickets on T20I debut as India bowl out West Indies for 171

Naman Dhir claimed three wickets on his T20I debut as India restricted West Indies to 171 in the first T20I at Lucknow on Tuesday. The Mumbai Indians all-rounder finished with figures of 3/31. Kuldeep Yadav took 2/33 and Axar Patel claimed two wickets.

West Indies were sent in to bat after Shreyas Iyer won the toss. Shai Hope scored 52 off 37 balls and Sherfane Rutherford made 56 off 34. Dhir dismissed Hope, Romario Shepherd and Shamar Springer.

India made five changes from their Asian Games squad. Dhir, Kuldeep Yadav and Mayank Yadav were among those included. Vaibhav Sooryavanshi was left out of the playing XI.
