New Zealand coach Rob Walter challenges Vaibhav Sooryavanshi on pace and bounce

New Zealand head coach Rob Walter said he is eager to see how 15-year-old Vaibhav Sooryavanshi performs on the quicker and bouncier pitches during India's five-match T20I series starting October 21. Walter made the comments after New Zealand named their squad, with Mitchell Santner set to lead the side.

Sooryavanshi has been on the bench for India's last four T20Is at home but remains in the touring party. He has already scored centuries in England, Australia and South Africa, but New Zealand will be his first experience of these conditions.

India and New Zealand last met in the T20 World Cup final in March, which India won. Walter said the Black Caps are focused on representing New Zealand well and would welcome victories at home.
