Waqar Younis says Jasprit Bumrah still has way to go before becoming Test great

Waqar Younis said Jasprit Bumrah still has some way to go before becoming a Test great. Bumrah became the fastest Indian pacer to 150 Test wickets in 34 matches and the fastest to 200 wickets in 44 matches.

Waqar Younis said Bumrah always delivers in crunch white-ball scenarios and that the over in which he dismissed Rizwan proved decisive in New York. Bumrah was named Player of the Tournament at the T20 World Cup 2024 with 15 wickets at an economy rate of 4.17.

Bumrah's limited Test appearances are due to injury concerns and workload management. He is expected to return for India's upcoming Test series against New Zealand.
