Sarfaraz Khan replaces injured Sai Sudharsan in India Test squad for Sri Lanka

Sarfaraz Khan has joined India's revised Test squad for the Sri Lanka series after Sai Sudharsan was ruled out with a toe injury. The BCCI confirmed the changes to the squad. Other players unavailable include Jasprit Bumrah, Harshit Rana, Nitish Kumar Reddy, Washington Sundar and Akash Deep.

Sarfaraz linked up with the team in Colombo and was pictured in the India training kit. The call-up ends a period of waiting for the Mumbai batter. He replaces Sudharsan in the batting order for the two-Test series.

The series begins later this month. India will look to integrate the replacement quickly ahead of the first Test.
