Rishabh Pant's shoulder injury leaves Day 4 participation in doubt

Morne Morkel said Pant’s bruised shoulder will be monitored overnight.

Rishabh Pant did not keep wickets on day three after badly bruising his shoulder during the second Test against Sri Lanka in Colombo. His participation on day four is now uncertain. The injury restricts his movement enough that India opted not to risk him behind the stumps. Dhruv Jurel took the gloves in his absence and held a catch during the morning session. Pant has 2,534 runs across 36 away Tests for India.
