Naman Dhir warns India against complacency ahead of fourth T20I
Naman Dhir urged India to stay focused despite their series lead, stressing that West Indies remain dangerous.
Naman Dhir said India must maintain intensity despite a 2-1 lead in the five-match T20I series against the West Indies. The 26-year-old all-rounder stressed that the visitors remain dangerous and that complacency could cost the hosts at any stage of the series.
Dhir has taken five wickets so far and leads the series wicket-takers. Each of his wickets has come after conceding a six, a pattern he hopes to avoid in Hyderabad. He also said he wants to contribute more with the bat at this stage of his career while still aiming to develop as a genuine all-rounder.
India secured their 2-1 lead after defending 223 at Indore, where Arshdeep Singh took three wickets and Dhir claimed two. The fourth match begins on Friday in Hyderabad.
