Bhuvneshwar Kumar added to India squad as cover for injured Arshdeep Singh

Bhuvneshwar Kumar was added to India's T20I squad as cover for Arshdeep Singh ahead of the fifth match against the West Indies in Bengaluru. Arshdeep sustained a shoulder injury during the fourth T20I in Hyderabad on Wednesday.

The BCCI said a decision on Arshdeep's participation would be taken before the final match based on his recovery. Bhuvneshwar had already been selected for India's upcoming five-match T20I series in New Zealand starting October 22.

India and the West Indies are tied 2-2 in the series. The final match at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium ended in a no result due to rain.
